Hotel Booking Engine: Direct Bookings with Zero Commissions
Booking Engine and direct bookings
A hotel booking engine lets guests search dates, compare rooms and book directly from the property’s website. Photos, terms and price must reflect the same offer the customer just saw on the hotel’s pages.
From website to confirmation
Prepare room descriptions, allowed occupancies and included services. Test a booking from a smartphone and check the summary is clear.
Operational checklist
- Check the total price for two guests.
- Compare two rate plans for the same room.
- Review the summary before confirmation.
How to proceed in your property
Before choosing or changing the tool, prepare a concrete case with dates, room type and sales conditions. Use the same case to compare solutions and note any steps requiring manual intervention.
How to compare costs?
Consider fees, activation, support and payment costs. Zero commission from the booking engine does not eliminate all other expenses.
Learn more with Persefone
Discover the booking engine for accommodation providers and evaluate the connection with the channel manager for hotels. To analyse your property’s needs you can contact the Persefone team.
Guide guests from search to booking
The Booking Engine allows consultation of room availability and rates and booking via the official website. A clear process presents accommodations, conditions and payment methods without leaving guests uncertain about the next steps.
Check availability, conditions and confirmation messages using real cases. Service and payment costs are separate from OTA commissions and should be considered when evaluating the direct channel.
